Paving Season Begins in Phoenix

Paving season has officially started in the City of Phoenix. The Street Transportation Department, Street Maintenance Division, typically begins paving City streets in early spring, continuing through the fall. The paving schedule aligns with strategic pavement planning throughout the City as a part of the 5-Year Pavement Maintenance Program. “In fiscal year 2025, the pavement maintenance program completed a substantial amount of pavement maintenance and replacement across the City,” said Rubben Lolly, Deputy Director of the Street Maintenance Division. “This resulted in 93 miles of repaved streets, and another 133 miles of other pavement resurfacing activities.” In fiscal year 2026,...
