The City of Prescott will host a Public Safety and Proposition 478 Town Hall on Wednesday, Aug. 26, giving residents an opportunity to hear updates on the voter-approved measure and ask questions about its public safety initiatives. Hosted by Mayor Cathey Rusing and the Prescott City Council, the town hall will begin at 4 p.m. at The Federal, 101 W. Goodwin Street in downtown Prescott. City officials are expected to provide an update on the current status of Proposition 478, including how current costs compare with the plans and estimates presented when the measure was proposed.
